Christine has possessed a passionate love of art for as long as she can remember. She had her first solo art show of paintings at the age of nine in Lakewood, Ohio. At sixteen, she entered a northern Ohio juried show for adults and won "Best of Show" and First Place in watercolor. A commitment to graduate with an art degree was fulfilled at Ohio State University, and lifelong special study pursued at the Cleveland Institute of Art.
After teaching art in public schools and privately, Christine left art education to pursue a painting career and gallery affiliations. These changes led to sales around the globe.
In 1998, while traveling to Fairhope Alabama, Christine "painted the town" literally. She fell in love with the sunshine and the friendly southern ambiance. She went back to her lifelong home in Cleveland Ohio, packed her bags and moved to Fairhope, where she opened the Christine Linson Gallery. Her customers return regularly to collect new Fairhope prints and note cards, the annual Fairhope limited edition Christmas cards, ornaments, and of course, her large original watercolor florals, impressionistic and abstract oils, and charcoal figurative art work.
